5 Ways To Build Teen Leadership During A Pandemic

Strong teen leaders are needed now, along with a teen leadership revolution in this digital age of "followers" and "following". Because many teens don't know what to look for in leaders in this (anti)social era, we go to them as mentors, even in the midst of an epic pandemic.

As a father to a beautiful 15-year-old girl, I learn how to lead her everyday. I observe her closely and from a distance as she grows and matures. I listen to hercarefully as she speaks what she thinks and I listen even more to what her body language says.

My motivation is LOVE.

When COVID-19 swept over the world, I attended to the needs of my daughter and my wife and it became crystal clear to me that I was built for this event and for these two women. My leadership as a father and a husband during the uncertainty of pandemic, highlighted a needarea I have always seen - the need for teen leadership.
